Five Top 10 stars will compete in the 29th edition of the Terra Wortmann Open. This was announced by the organizers of the ATP 500 grass-court tournament on Wednesday.
The field is led by World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev. The 26-year-old Russian will seek his first match win in Westphalia after losing to Jan-Lennard Struff in his debut last year. Home favourite Alexander Zverev signed a three-year contract with the tournament earlier this season. The World No. 3 is bidding for his first Halle crown. The 24-year-old Hamburg native finished runner-up twice, losing to Florian Mayer in 2016 and to Roger Federer the following year. Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, Andrey Rublev of Russia and Canadian young gun Felix Auger Aliassime round out the top-ranked competitors.
