“For the first time during this week’s tournament it was very hot, so it was quite a tough match,” said Rinderknech. “Additionally, the match itself was very long for two sets. So it was definitely not an easy one, but I am very happy that I managed to win. I had a lot of fun playing here. Poznan is a great place and it has been a great week for me.”
By lifting his fourth ATP Challenger trophy, his first of the season, Rinderknech pocketed €9,200 in prize money as well as 90 ATP Ranking points.

On Saturday, US-American Hunter Reese and Szymon Walkow of Poland claimed the doubles title. The top seeds edged past fourth-seeded Czech Marek Gengel and Adam Pavlasek 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 in one hour and 15 minutes.
Reese and Walkow won their first team title. They split €3,950 in prize money and earned 90 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
