Following two triumphs on the ITF World Tennis Tour on home soil in Villa Allende 2021 and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic earlier this season, the World No. 285 lifted his first Challenger trophy. In addition, Comesana became the 12th man born in 2000 to claim a title in this category. That list is made up of renowned players such as Felix Auger-Aliassime, Sebastian Korda and Sebastian Baez, among others.
The 21-year-old Mar del Plata native earned $5,150 in prize money as well as 50 ATP Ranking points. Comesana rises to a new career-high of World No. 239.
