Constant Lestienne captured the title of the 2022 Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco. The No. 2 seed of the €45,730 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court event defeated fellow Frenchman and seventh favourite Gregoire Barrere 6-0, 7-6(3) in Sunday’s singles final.
Under the lights on Pista Fabian Dorado at the C.D. Open Tenis Ciudad de Pozoblanco, Lestienne sent down three aces and won 81 per cent of his first-service points. The World No. 119 broke Barrere’s serve four times to prevail after one hour and 26 minutes.

Lestienne lifted his fifth Challenger career trophy, his second of the season following his triumph in Malaga earlier this month.
“Thanks to all the people, who made this tournament possible,” the Amiens native said during his on-court speech. “And many thanks to the spectators, who came out to watch us playing, as it’s very late.”
Lestienne earned in southern Spain €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
