Two Frenchmen will go head-to-head in Sunday’s singles final of the 17th edition of the Open d’Orleans. Quentin Halys, No. 4 seed of the €134,920 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court event, edged past Adrian Andreev from Bulgaria 7-6(2), 6-4 in the stage of the last four on Saturday.
Halys fired 19 aces and won 84 per cent of his first-service points to advance in one hour and 23 minutes.
Earlier in the day, Gregoire Barrere emerged victorious from the all-French battle with No. 2 seed Hugo Gaston, winning 6-4, 6-3. The 28-year-old from Charenton-le-Pont capitalized on four of his nine break-point chances to succeed in one hour and 14 minutes.

Halys chases his sixth ATP Challenger career crown on Sunday, his third of the season following his triumphs on home soil in Pau and Lille. Barrere, who won three of the five previous meetings between the two, could lift his fourth Challenger trophy, his first since 2019.
In the doubles final, top-seeded Frenchmen Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin will take on Michael Geerts of Belgium and Skander Mansouri from Tunisia.
