M25 Sarreguemines FRA – Mats Rosenkranz triumphs on carpet
The Internationaux de Sarreguemines, hosted by Ass Tennis Sarreguemines, concluded with the title win of left-handed Mats Rosenkranz.
The German No. 5 seed moved to the final with a three-set win against No. 4 seeded Frenchman Antoine Hoang.
French No. 3 seed Dan Added fought past German Elmar Ejupovic, seeded No. 2, in the semi-finals in three sets.
Essen-born Rosenkranz fired 13 aces in the title match and gained one break more to prevail 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 after one hour and 42 minutes. The 24-year-old lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his first in 25K category. Last season he already showed his skills on fast surfaces with his championship in Gaiba on grass.
“It was a fantastic week for me and I am so happy about winning the title here,” Rosenkranz told Tennis TourTalk.
“Following solid wins against two qualifiers, I knocked off the tournament’s top seed Michael Geerts where I showed a great performance. In the semi-finals and the final, the matches were so close, but I made the right decisions at the big points. After one week off, I will go for two tournaments in Sharm El Sheikh and I plan two more competitions in Slovakia. I do not have a special ranking goal for the rest of the season, but I will try to go for the best possible results with the confidence from here.”
M25 Jakarta INA – Arthur Weber wins debut title
Unseeded Arthur Weber triumphed at the Medco Energi International Tennis Championships 2022, held at Sultan Hotel Tennis Court.
The 30-year-old Frenchman advanced to the final with a straight-set win against Renta Tokuda from Japan.
Australian No. 7 seed Thomas Fancutt fought through the bottom half of the draw, defeating veteran Konstantin Kravchuk in the semis in two sets.
In the championship match with both players gaining two breaks, left-handed Weber scored one point less but secured a 7-6, 7-6 win after two hours and 35 minutes. The veteran celebrated his first singles title on the Pro Circuit.

M25 Gaziantep TUR – Nicholas David Ionel claims fourth trophy of the season
Nicholas David Ionel succeeded at the Gaziantep Cup, hosted by Gaziantep Belediye Spor Kulübü.
The 20-year-old Romanian cruised past Swiss No. 4 seed Damien Wenger in the semi-finals in two sets.
No. 8 seeded Frenchman Corentin Denolly made it to the final with a straight-set win against Ukrainian No. 5 seed Oleg Prihodko.
No. 2 seeded Ionel broke his 25-year-old rival in the title match for five times by dropping one service-game to triumph 6-2, 6-2 in 77 minutes. The Bucharest native lifted his ninth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fourth this season.

M25 Saint-Augustin CAN – Aziz Dougaz wins fifth title of the season
Top seeded Aziz Dougaz from La Marsa earned the trophy of the M25 Saint-Augustin tournament, held at Complexe de Tennis St. Augustin.
The 25-year-old Tunisian made the last step to the final by beating US-American No. 6 seed Roy Smith, who played college tennis for Baylor University, in three sets.
Canadian No. 5 seed Justin Boulais rallied past No. 3 seeded Patrick Kypson from the United States in the semi-finals in three sets.
Left-handed Dougaz won 77 per cent of his first-service points and gained the only two breaks in the championship match to secure a 7-5, 6-4 victory in 83 minutes. The former college player for the Florida State University celebrated his 11th singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fifth in 2022.

M25 Afula ISR – Daniel Cukierman remains solid on home soil
Daniel Cukierman was crowned champion at the M25 Afula tournament hosted by Afula Tennis Club, without dropping a set the entire week.
In the semi-finals with all top four favourites, the 27-year-old knocked out the tournament’s top favourite Louis Wessels from Germany.
Polish No. 2 seed Filip Peliwo reached the final with a straight-set win against No. 3 seeded Turk Yanki Erel.
No. 4 seeded Cukierman capitalized on six of his nine break-point opportunities in the title match by losing four service-games to prevail 7-6, 6-3 in 96 minutes. The Tel Aviv native lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on home soil this season.

M15 Norman USA – Yuta Kikuchi takes maiden title in Oklahoma
Yuta Kikuchi claimed the championship of the Norman Open, held at the venue of OU Tennis Club.
The 23-year-old Japanese battled past German top seed Lucas Gerch, who played college tennis for the Oklahoma State University, in the semi-finals in three sets.
No. 6 seeded Spaniard Alex Martinez advanced to the final with a three-set win against Jordan Hasson from Israel.
No. 7 seeded Kikuchi gained five breaks in the title match by dropping three service games to succeed 7-5, 6-4 in one hour and 50 minutes. The college player of the University of California Berkeley, who was born in Yahaba, lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.
“It was amazing. There was a good atmosphere especially for the final. It was very emotional actually when I won the tournament. I’ve made semifinals a couple of times but never won a pro tournament. Winning this tournament means a lot for my future success,” said Kikuchi

No. 4 seeded Maxime Chazal from France received a walkover in the semis from No. 6 seeded German Tim Handel, who played college tennis for the Northern Arizona University.
Bolzano-born Weis scored 10 points more in the championship match and earned two breaks more to triumph 6-4, 6-4 after one hour and 50 minutes. The No. 2 seed celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The younger brother of fellow tennis professional Hugo Dellien, finished the run of Argentinian qualifier Julian Gimenez in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Peruvian No. 6 seed Conner Huertas del Pino fought past No. 7 seeded Argentinian Tomas Farjat in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Twenty-five-year-old Dellien outpointed his rival in the championship match 56-29 to succeed 6-0-6-2 in 78 minutes. The top seed from Trinidad celebrated his third singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his two championships in Quito earlier in the season.
