Ivan Gakhov has clinched the title of the second edition of the Saturn Oil Open. In a singles final between two unseeded players at the €73,000 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court event in Troisdorf, Germany, the 26-year-old Russian fought past Frederico Ferreira Silva from Portugal 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.
Gakhov was rock solid on his serve, fired eight aces and won 77 per cent of his first-service points to seal victory in two hours and 40 minutes.

World No. 175 Gakhov captured his second ATP Challenger career crown following his maiden triumph in Girona, Spain in early April. The Moscow native earned €9,880 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
