Alexander Zverev of Germany will start his title bid at the 30th edition of the Terra Wortmann Open against Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut. The two-time Halle finalist (2016, 2017) is seeking his first title at the ATP 500 grass-court event in Halle, Westphalia.
“This is a real challenge for Sascha. But he be well prepared, as he was the first player to practice here on Thursday,” said tournament director Ralf Weber.

Top seed Daniil Medvedev from Russia will play a qualifier and second favourite Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece will open his campaign against Frenchman Gregoire Barrere.
