Taylor Fritz from the United States captured his sixth career title on the ATP Tour, lifting the trophy of the Atlanta Open. The top seed seed of the hard-court event beat Aleksandar Vukic of Australia 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-4 in Sunday’s singles final.
Fritz struck 16 aces and won 84 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after two hours and 16 minutes.

“I’ve played this tournament five times before and [made] the semis [in 2021] and final [in 2019]. I feel like I’ve always been close so it’s nice, I don’t think I could’ve handled another loss in the final. It feels really good to get the job done,” Fritz said.
The World No. 9 won $112,125 in prize money as well as 250 ATP Ranking points.
“I felt like today it was like, ‘I’m here to win it and I’d be absolutely devastated with a final result’. Even though a lot of times, being in the final, I’m happy with that,” Fritz said.
