Defending champion Taylor Fritz from the United States leads the field at the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo, where Norwegian Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev of Germany compete at the ATP 500 hard-court tournament.

Denmark’s Holger Rune will look to boost his Nitto ATP Finals qualification chances at the BNP Paribas Nordic Open in Stockholm, an ATP 250. Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece is the top seed at the European Open, an ATP 250 in Antwerp, Belgium.
