“It was a very difficult tournament; today, at one point, it seemed like I was going to lose, but I managed to turn it around. Winning at home is always something beautiful. When I think that there are people paying for a ticket to watch me, I can’t believe it. I am very happy. Of all the Challengers in Argentina, I always wanted to win the one in Buenos Aires,” said the champion, who earned $17,650 in prize money as well as 100 ATP Ranking points.
By lifting his fourth ATP Challenger Tour trophy of the season, Navone will enter the top 150 of the ATP Rankings, achieving the best position of his career.
