The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, a flagship of Porsche’s worldwide involvement in world tennis and the WTA Tour‘s annual kickoff to the European spring clay season, has added three Top-10 players to its star-studded lineup.
On Thursday, Operating Tournament Director Anke Huber announced that the 47th edition of the WTA 500 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany will include reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic, three-time major runner-up Ons Jabeur of Tunisia and 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia. In the current WTA Rankings, Jabeur is ranked No. 6, Vondrousova is No. 8 and Ostapenko is No. 9.

The entry list for the tournament for the April 13-21 event at Porsche Arena already includes World No. 1 and two-time defending champion Iga Swiatek of Poland, World No. 2 and this year’s Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, and Porsche Brand Ambassadors Angelique Kerber of Germany and Emma Raducanu of Great Britain.
“Ons is one of the nicest players on the Tour,” Huber said in a statement. “The fans love her. Jelena has started the year off well and is always good for a surprise. The fact that Marketa, the Wimbledon champion, will be back in Stuttgart is an accolade for our tournament.”
With the addition of Jabeur, who was a Stuttgart semifinalist last year, as well as Vondrousova and Ostapenko, it brings the total number of current and past major champions committed to play in Stuttgart in 2024 to six.
