Enzo Couacaud captured the title of the Banco BRB – Engie Open in Florianopolis, Brazil. The 29-year-old Frenchman came back from a set down to outlast home favourite Joao Lucas Reis da Silva 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(1) in Sunday’s singles final.
Couacaud struck 11 aces, won 86 per cent of his first-service points and broke his rival two times to succeed in two hours and 15 minutes.

The World No. 217 battled his way to the championship match with wins over local wild card entry Gustavo Riebeiro de Almeida, Argentine qualifier Lorenzo Joaquin Rodriguez, No. 4 seed Roman Andres Burruchaga and Italian Gianluca Mager.
By winning his third ATP Challenger Tour career title, his first since Gran Canaria 2021, Couacaud earned $11,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
