The complete entry list for the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event has been confirmed today by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) – event organisers on behalf of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The Olympic Tennis Event will be held on clay at the Roland-Garros stadium over nine days from Saturday 27 July – Sunday 4 August. There will be 12 match courts and 6 practice courts, including the 15,000-capacity Court Philippe Chatrier and 9,000-capacity Court Suzanne Lenglen. Both courts have retractable roofs.

A total of 41 nations will be represented at the Olympic Tennis Event, with 184 players competing across five events (men’s and women’s singles and doubles, plus mixed doubles). Lebanon makes its debut in the competition. Sixty-four players will compete in both singles events, while 32 teams will contest the two doubles events. Entries for the 16-team mixed doubles event will be determined on Wednesday 24 July.

The men’s and women’s singles entries are headed by Jannik Sinner (Italy), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), Iga Swiatek (Poland), Coco Gauff (USA) and Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan). Returning to defend their Olympic titles are Alexander Zverev (Germany) plus the doubles teams of Nikola Mektic/Mate Pavic (Croatia) and Barbora Krejcikova/Katerina Siniakova (Czechia).

Other former Olympic champions include two-time singles gold medallist Andy Murray (Great Britain) and Beijing 2008 doubles gold medallist Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland), both of whom receive ITF Places; and singles and doubles gold medallist Rafael Nadal (Spain).

There is a limit of four singles players per gender per country. Nations were also able to nominate up to two doubles teams per event, with a maximum of six players per gender per country in total.

As per the ITF Qualification System, all players must be in good standing with their National Association and have met Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup participation requirements. The National Association of any player who did not meet this criteria was able to apply to the ITF Olympic Committee for an exemption. The ATP and WTA rankings of 10 June were used for entry.

For men’s and women’s doubles, the top 24 teams were selected on combined singles or doubles ranking, with Top 10 doubles players eligible for direct entry with any partner with a Top 300 ranking. According to the IOC player quota regulations, priority for the 8 remaining teams was given to teams including two singles players, followed by teams including one singles player.

Entries for the 16-team mixed doubles event will be determined on site from those players already participating in singles or doubles, with a maximum of one team per country. Sign-in closes at 11:00 local time (09:00 GMT) on Wednesday 24 July and ITF will announce the entry list shortly after.

ITF Places have been allocated to successful competitors at the Pan American Games, Asian Games, and African Games; and Olympic gold medallists/Grand Slam singles champions with the highest number of titles. More details on ITF Places can be found here.

The draws for the Olympic Tennis Event will be held on site at Roland Garros on Thursday 25 July at 11:00 local time (09:00 GMT).
