Knoxville Challenger: Eubanks Claims Second Title

The 2024 Knoxville Challenger held at the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Center in Knoxville, Tennessee concluded with US-American Christopher Eubanks winning the title. The No. 2 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour event beat his third-seeded compatriot Learner Tien 7-5, 7-6(9) in Sunday’s singles final.

Eubanks advanced to the championship match with wins over Austrian teenager Joel Schwärzler, local wild card entry Murphy Cassone, Eliot Spizzirri from the United States and Briton Johannus Monday.

By lifting his fourth ATP Challenger Tour career trophy, his second at Knoxville after 2021, Eubanks earned $11,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.

“I am really excited to take my second title here in Knoxville. I played really great tennis all week. Thank you so much for all the support I received and hope to see you soon,” Eubanks said in a video message via X.
