The prestigious Lemon Bowl Work 365 Sporfie, a national junior tennis tournament with international participation, will hold its 41st edition at the Foro Italico in Rome, offering young players a chance to compete on the iconic clay courts that host the Italian Open annually. The tournament, featuring under-10, under-12, and under-14 categories, continues to be a launchpad for some of tennis’ biggest stars, including past champions like Matteo Berrettini, Lorenzo Musetti, and Elisabetta Cocciaretto.
The competition will span multiple venues, including the Salaria Sport Village, Panda Sporting Club, and Tennis Club Le Molette, with indoor backup courts at Bel Poggio in case of adverse weather. This year’s edition also saw international qualifying rounds in Austria, the UK, the UAE, and at Spain’s Emilio Sanchez Academy.
Notable Alumni
The Lemon Bowl has a storied history of fostering talent. Notable alumni include ATP Tour stars like Ivan Ljubicic and Janko Tipsarevic, Grand Slam champion Anastasia Myskina, and recent Davis and Billie Jean King Cup champions from Italy.
Tournament Structure
- Prequalifications: December 9–22 for specific under-12 and under-14 categories, with registration closing on December 5 at 6:00 PM.
- Qualifications: December 27–January 1, with entry lists finalized on December 15.
- Main Draw: January 2–6, culminating in finals on January 6, where winners will receive the coveted Lemon trophies.
As of now, 39 participants from 24 countries have already registered, highlighting the tournament’s international appeal. Full entry lists will be published on December 22 on the official tournament website.
