Luisina Giovannini was crowned champion of the ITF World Tennis Tour W35 Junin I clay-court tournament after defeating fellow Argentine Martina Capurro in Sunday’s singles final, 7-6(3), 6-2.
The 19-year-old from Coronel Moldes, currently ranked world No. 217, claimed her 11th career title on the ITF Pro Circuit, her second title of the season. It was also the eighth professional title of her career won on Argentine soil, further confirming her status as one of the country’s most promising young players.
