Monza Open Expands Beyond The Courts With New Fan Village

Atkinsons Monza Open Fan Village

MONZA/STARNBERG, March 31, 2026

The 2026 edition of the Atkinsons Monza Open is drawing ever closer, and alongside the anticipation of seeing some of tennis’ best-known names in action at the Villa Reale Tennis from April 5 to 12, the city is also preparing for this year’s major new attraction: an expanded Fan Village extending beyond the club grounds and linking the courts directly with the heart of Monza.

For the entire duration of the tournament, the area of the Boschetti Reali stretching from the entrance of the club toward the city centre will become a true tennis village and the beating heart of the event. Open from morning until late evening, the Fan Village will feature live music, sporting activities, a food court with a wide range of culinary options, and numerous attractions linked to the world of tennis.

The project has been developed with strong local support. Backed by Confcommercio Monza and created in partnership with Barley Arts, Buono Food & Events and Street Food Truck, the Fan Village will combine the matches on court with a packed schedule of events involving local sports clubs, cultural associations and music schools from Monza.

Activities are planned throughout all eight days of the tournament, from Easter Sunday on April 5 through to the final Sunday. Racket sports will take centre stage, with table tennis tables and a pickleball court available all day. Coaches from Villa Reale Tennis and instructors from the Federazione Italiana Tennis e Padel will be on hand to help visitors of all ages try the sport.

The programme will also include daily Pilates, yoga, tai chi and karate sessions from 10 a.m. to noon, children’s activities, pet-friendly initiatives and entertainment in the stands of tournament partners such as Rinascente, Hundog and Istituti Clinici Zucchi. The tournament’s medical partner will also offer a dedicated area focused on health and prevention, providing free consultations from Tuesday through Saturday on nutrition, cardiology, orthopaedics and physiotherapy, along with memory tests.

A special stage set up inside the Fan Village will host evening entertainment, including DJ sets on April 5 and 6 aimed at younger spectators. There will also be player talks led by former tennis player and current Nicolò Cotto, now a commentator for Sky Sport, giving fans a unique opportunity to hear directly from the tournament stars.

The final weekend promises even more entertainment. On Friday evening, students from the Liceo Zucchi will perform in a Band Live Contest, while on Saturday night, from 8 p.m., the Seven Seas Orchestra will perform live, followed by a DJ set lasting until midnight.

The Fan Village has been designed as “an event within the event” — a place open to everyone from morning to night and capable of bringing together sport, music, food and local culture to transform the tournament into a true Royal Tennis Show.

Admission to the courts at Villa Reale Tennis will be free from April 5 through April 10. Tickets for the final two days of the tournament, April 11 and 12, are available through Vivaticket while supplies last.

The final three days of the tournament will be broadcast live by Sky Sport, while every main-draw match will be streamed free of charge on Challenger TV via the ATP Tour website.

As an ATP Challenger 125 event, the Monza Open belongs to the second-highest category on the Challenger Tour. The tournament offers total prize money of €203,900, with a 32-player singles main draw, qualifying competition for the final six places, and a 16-team doubles draw.
