NEW YORK, August 18, 2026 (USTA Media Release)
The USTA announced on Monday the all-star field of direct entries and wild cards officially confirmed to compete in the 2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship presented by Vital Proteins®. The second year of the reimagined and elevated Championship will be played Monday, August 24, to Wednesday, August 26, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, with both Monday and Tuesday featuring free-to-attend matches in Grandstand and Louis Armstrong Stadium, respectively.

2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship Schedule and Format
Monday, August 24 – Qualifying (Eight teams competing for two entries)
Grandstand; 11 a.m. start (Free to attend with Fan Access Pass)
Tuesday, August 25 – First Round and Quarterfinals
Louis Armstrong Stadium; 10 a.m. start (Free to attend with Fan Access Pass)
Arthur Ashe Stadium; 11 a.m. start
Wednesday, August 26 – Semifinals and Final
Arthur Ashe Stadium; 7 p.m. start
ESPN will present the 2026 US Open including US Open Qualifying and Mixed Doubles Championship, both beginning Monday, August 24. The complete 2026 US Open schedule on ESPN will be announced at a later date.
Scoring and match format:
Qualifying through the Semifinals: Best-of-three-set matches with sets to four games; no-ad scoring (tiebreak at four-all); 10-point tie-break in lieu of third set.
Final: Best-of-three set match with sets to six games (tie-break at six-all); no-ad scoring; 10-point tie-break in lieu of third set.
