DOHA, January 4, 2017
It was an evening of relaxation, enjoyments and throwing banters as the stars let down their hair during a glamorous gala dinner organized on the sidelines of the 25th Anniversary edition of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha on Monday.
The event paraded a galaxy of stars including world No.1 Andy Murray, the defending champion Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga among others alongside the QTF President HE Nasser Bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi and the President and General Manager of ExxonMobil Qatar Alistair Routledge. There was plenty of fun as the attendees were treated to the top-notch hospitality, now synonymous with Qatar, with music from some of the notable traditional bands in the country.
Over the years, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open has continued the tradition of ensuring that participants at the season-opening tournament are treated to the warmest of hospitality as much as possible and this year’s edition was taken a notch higher.
“We are happy to host the players once again in Qatar and we are equally delighted to treat them to the world famous great Qatari hospitality. We believe that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and that’s why we created a platform for the players to come together in a relaxed atmosphere without caring about anything tennis during our tournament. I wish all the players the best in Doha,” QTF President HE Nasser Bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi said at the event.
