Defending champion Viktorija Golubic will face strong competition at this year’s WTA Ladies Championshiop Gstaad, held from 15 to 23 July 2017.

The World No. 65 from Switzerland, one of three local players, who advanced to the semi-finals in the Swiss Alps last year, will be joined by fellow countrywoman Timea Bacsinszky and in-form Frenchwoman Carolin Garcia as well as former US Open champion Samantha Stosur of Australia. Last year’s runner-up Kiki Bertens from the Netherlands will also return to Gstaad.
