Ilya Ivashka captured his maiden title on the ATP Challenger Tour, winning Sunday’s final of the $75,000 Fergana Challenger 6-4, 6-3 against the tournament’s number three Nikola Milojevic of Serbia.
The 23-year-old from Belarus, who clinched three ITF Futures career titles, sent down four aces and broke serve four times to prevail in one hour and 24 minutes. Ivashka earns $10,800 in prize money as well as 90 ATP ranking points.
On Friday, Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan from Indian took the doubles crown with a 6-3, 6-3 win over the all-Japanese combination of Yuya Kibi and Shuichi Sekiguchi. The encounter lasted 58 minutes.
