Federico Delbonis clinched the title of the €43,000 Internazionali Di Tennis Dell’Umbria, winning Sunday evening’s final in Todi against second seed Marco Cecchinato of Italy 7-5, 6-1.
The fifth favourite from Argentina, who knocked out the tournament’s number one Dusan Lajovic in the semis, saved all three break points he faced, capitalizing on four of his own to secure victory in one hour and 22 minutes.
By lifting his eighth trophy on the ATP Challenger Tour, Delbonis takes away €6,190 in prize money as well as 90 ATP ranking points.

On Friday, top seeds Steven De Waard from Australia and Ben Mclachlan of New Zealand captured the doubles title, rallying past Croats Martin Draganja and Tomislav Draganja 6-7, 6-4, 10-7. The encounter lasted one hour and 47 minutes.
