EL ESPINAR, July 15, 2017
Up to 343 players from over 40 countries from all continents have entered the third edition of the $25,000 ITF Open Castilla y León held at the Villa El Espinar in the province of Segovia from 31 July to 6 August 2017.
The list is led by World No. 143 Quirine Lemoine from the Netherlands followed by Teresa Martincova of the Czech Republic and Hungarian Dalma Galfi.
Defending champino Jessika Ponchet of France, currently ranked at World No. 406, is only part of the alternates.
The annually ITF women’s event will be held the same week of the €85,000 ATP Challenger and was added to the tournament in 2015. The winner will receive 50 WTA ranking points as well as $3,919 in prize money.
