Organizers of the Erste Bank Open 500 announced on Monday that three Top 10-players will compete in the ATP 500 event held from 21 to 29 October 2017 in Vienna.
US Open semi-finalist Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain will join German shooting star Alexander Zverev and local favourite Dominic Thiem. South African Kevin Anderson, runner-up to Rafael Nadal in New York, will also play inside the Stadthalle for a total prize money of €2,621850.
“Nine players ranked inside the Top 20 will come to Vienna this year,” tournament director Herwig Straka stated. “Players with different game styles and of different generations will meet. It is going to be a very exciting event.”
