UAE’s Young Tennis Talent Gears Up For 10th Edition Of Mubadala Community Cup

The 10th edition of the Mubadala Community Cup (MCC) presented by Healthpoint has been launched. With over 300 of the UAE’s most promising tennis players registered to compete between 3 – 24 November 2017, across various sporting facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the tournament is set to be the biggest yet.

The MCC, presented by Healthpoint, the leading multi-speciality hospital in Abu Dhabi and part of Mubadala’s network of world-class healthcare providers, is open to those aged eight and over. As the region’s largest amateur tennis tournament, participants have the chance to win exclusive spots at player tennis coaching clinics, hosted by the world-class tennis players competing in this year’s Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC), held in Abu Dhabi between 28 –30 December 2017.

In the tenth year of the Championship, this year’s MWTC stellar line-up features; World No.1 Rafael Nadal, 12-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, Austrian youngster Dominic Thiem, Pablo Carreño Busta of Spain, Stan Wawrinka from Switzerland and Canadian Milos Raonic.

Designed to showcase the best amateur players in the region, the MCC presented by Healthpoint promises an exciting tournament with players from various categories, battling it out for the top spot.

The first weekend in November has already witnessed entrants from the ‘14s and Under’ age group competing in Dubai, while in Abu Dhabi the ‘10s and Under’ category showcased further budding tennis talent. The winners, runners up and raffle players from each of these categories secured well deserved, exclusive player coaching clinic spots.

Open to all age groups and abilities, the annual MCC presented by Healthpoint aims to get people involved in tennis across the UAE and promote healthy living.
