Juan Carlos Ferrero and Alexander Zverev will continue their partnership in 2018. The 37-year-old Spaniard, who started working with the German youngster in July this season, told that he will attend the main tournaments on the ATP World Tour.

“I will join him at the Grand Slams, the ATP Masters 1000 events and some other tournaments. I will work with him twenty weeks a year. That’s what we agreed. Maybe it will be even more,” Ferrero told during the Nitto ATP Finals in London.

Zverev’s Season Has Come To An End In London

Zverev, who is also coached by his father Alexander Sr, lost his final round robin match on Thursday to Jack Sock. A very successful season has come to an end.

“I just choked,” Zverev summarized his performance in his last match in 2017 at the The O2 in London. “It’s been an awesome year but the end of the season was absolute crap for me. If I would have played the whole year like I did, by the end of the year I don’t think I would have finished top 50. That’s a bit unfortunate for me. But that’s okay.

“I’m going to go on holidays now. I’m going to enjoy my brother’s wedding. I’m going to do that in the Maldives. I’ll get over it. Then I’m going to work hard in the off-season.” 

For sure, Ferrero will try to support him the best possible way.
