Uladzimir Ignatik clinched the singles title at fifth edition of the €43,000 Andria e Castel del Monte Challenger to close the season on the ATP Challenger Tour. In the final match in 2017, the fifth seed from Belarus battled past Belgium qualifier Christopher Heyman, who appeared in his first Challenger title match, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6.
Ignatik struck 10 aces, winning 78 per cent of his first service points, saved the only break point he faced, converting one of his own to prevail after two hours and seven minutes.
The 27-year-old Minsk native clinched his second ATP Challenger title of the season, following his triumph in Rennes. Ignatik earns €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP ranking points.
Uladzimir Ignatik is the champion in Andria, taking his second #ATPChallenger title of the season, 67(3) 64 76(3) over Heyman.
