Evgeny Karlovskiy is the champion of the A.C. Nielsen Pro Tennis Championship, claiming his first title on the ATP Challenger Tour. The 23-year-old from Russia defeated No. 4 seed Jason Jung from Chinese Taipei in Saturday’s singles final of the $75,000 hard-court event.
Karlovskiy saved all of the three break points he faced, capitalizing on four of his own 14 chances to seal victory in one hour and 11 minutes.

The Moscow native, who arrived in Winnetka after winning the ITF Pro Circuit title in Wichita, takes away $10,800 in prize money as well as 80 ATP ranking points, reaching a new career high World No. 245 on Monday.
Earlier in the day, Austin Krajicek from the United States and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan of India took the doubles crown. The top seeds rallied past Roberto Maytin of Venezuela and Christopher Rungkat from Indonesia 6-7(4), 6-4, 10-5. The final lasted one hour and 25 minutes.
