Daniel Elahi Galán of Colombia claimed his maiden ATP Challenger title by winning the San Benedetto Tennis Cup. The No. 8 seed battled past Sergio Gutierrez-Ferrol from Spain 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final of the €64,000 clay-court event.

Galán converted eight of his 17 break point chances to prevail after one hour and 55 minutes. The 22-year-old has become the first winner from Colombia since 2016 and takes away €9,200 in prize money as well as 90 ATP ranking points.
