Rogerio Dutra Silva has become the first champion of the 2019 ATP Challenger Tour. The 34-year-old Brazilian won the City of Playford Tennis International with a total financial commitment of $81,240. Dutra Silva beat Germany’s Mats Moraing 6-3, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
The No. 10 seed of the ATP Challenger 90 hard-court event didn’t face a break point converting three of his own six chances to prevail after exactly one hour of play.

By lifting his 11th ATP Challenger trophy, his first since the 2016 Panama City Challenger, Dutra Silva takes away $10,800 in prize money as well as 90 ATP-Ranking points.
Earlier in the day, Max Purcell and Luke Saville took the doubles title. The Australian duo beat Ariel Behar of Uruguay and Spaniard Enrique López Pérez 6-4, 7-5. Theh encounter lasted one hour and 18 minutes.
