M25 Denia ESP – Exceptional talent Carlos Alcaraz Garfia claims maiden trophy
Like his Spanish compatriot Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcarez Garfia captured his first title on the ITF Pro Circuit right after turning 16 years. The teenager, who is coached by former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, was victorious at the Orysol ITF Trofeo Ciudad de Denia, which was hosted at Club de Tenis Denia.
The No. 5 seed, who drew attention by winning three main-draw matches at the ATP Challenger events in Murcia and Alicante at the age of 15 earlier this season, won the all-Spanish semi-final against No. 2 seeded Carlos Boluda-Purkiss in the tie-break of the deciding set.
18-year-old Timofei Skatov from Kazakhstan, who was ranked No. 1 in ITF Juniors last year, eased past Spanish Jaume Pla Malfeito in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Alcaraz Garfia outpointed his rival 74-54 in the championship match, winning 6-4, 6-3 in 88 minutes.

M25 Porto POR – Hard-court specialist Pablo Vivero Gonzalez prevails in Porto
The Porto Open 2019, held at Complexo Desportivo Monte Aventino, concluded with the championship of Pablo Vivero Gonzalez.

Serving eight aces in the championship match and breaking his Madeira-born rival four times, Vivero Gonzalez sealed a 6-2, 6-2 victory after 77 minutes. The Madrid resident lifted his ninth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on hard court.
“I’m feeling very good. Both of us were a little bit nervous but I played somewhat better. My service was pretty good and I think that was the match’s key,” Pablo Vivero Gonzalez said.
M25 Pontedera ITA – In-form Enrico Dalla Valle captures his third title in a row
Enrico Dalla Valle is still the man to beat on the ITF Pro Circuit. After his triumph at the Citta di Pontedera „Devitalia“, held at ASD Le Meraviglie, the 21-year-old Italian celebrated his third consecutive and his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The No. 5 seed, who accepted a wild card by the organizers, rallied down Gonzalo Villanueva from Argentina in the stage of the last four in two sets.
17-year-old Giulio Zeppieri, who entered the tournament on position two, was victorious from the all-Italian semi-finals versus No. 4 seeded Andrea Basso in straight sets. Left-handed Zeppieri was ranked No. 12 in ITF Juniors last year.
Lasting one hour and 45 minutes, Ravenna native Dalla Valle claimed the only break in the match to secure a 7-6, 7-5 victory.
M25 Champaign USA – Teenager Jenson Brooksby clinches his second title of the season
The M25 Champaign tournament, which was held at University of Illinois at Champaign, concluded with the victory of Jenson Brooksby. Following his triumph in Bakersfield earlier this season, the 18-year-old US-American celebrated his second career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour in the United States.
No. 3 seeded Brooksby won the all-US-American semi-final against 20-year-old wild card entry Aleksandar Kovacevic in straight sets.
No. 4 seeded Oliver Crawford from the United States, who was ranked ITF No. 9 as a junior, battled past British top seed Liam Broady in the semi-finals in three sets.
Sacramento native Brooksby converted five of his 10 break point opportunities without facing a break point to finish the encounter in 62 minutes, winning 6-2, 6-1.
M25 Taipei TPE – Renta Tokuda wins in Taipei
No. 2 seeded Renta Tokuda was crowned champion of the Formosa Cup, held at Taipei Tennis Center.
The 21-year-old Japanese rallied down qualifier Wei-De Lin from Chinese Taipei in the stage of the last four in two sets.
Top seed Tsung-Hua Yang from Chinese Taipei took the last step to the final in beating Japanese No. 4 seed Makoto Ochi in straight sets.
Capitalizing on six of his seven break point chances by losing three service games, Hiroshima native Tokuda sealed a 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 win after two hours and five minutes, to lift his fourth trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Nonthaburi THA – Yuta Shimizu claims his third title of the season
Yuta Shimizu triumphed at the M25 Nonthaburi tournament, which was hosted at the venue of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand.
The 20-year-old Japanese, who was ranked ITF No. 5 as a junior, knocked off Australian top seed Harry Bourchier in the semi-finals in three sets.
Ukrainian Vladyslav Orlov, who entered the competition by his current ITF ranking, booked the spot in the final in defeating No. 8 seeded Manish Sureshkumar from India in two clear sets.
Left handed Shimizu won 85 per cent of his first service points to clinch the final victory by the score of 6-4, 6-0 after 75 minutes. The No. 5 seed celebrated his sixth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his third in 2019.
M25 Troyes FRA – Orlando Luz adds another victory on clay court
Former Junior World No. 1 Orlando Luz prevailed at the Internationaux de Troyes, held at Tennis Club de Troyes.
The 21-year-old Brazilian battled past French No. 6 seed Maxime Hamou in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
No. 8 seed Jules Okala from France took the last step to the final in beating Italian No. 2 seed Fabrizio Ornago in three sets.
Top seed Luz broke his opponent’s serve five times by dropping one service game to seal a 6-0, 7-5 win after 71 minutes. The Barcelona resident lifted his sixth singles clay-court trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Bad Schussenried GER – Marvin Netuschil celebrates victory on home soil
Marvin Netuschil is the champion of the best wood Schneider Tennis Open, held at TC Bad Schussenried.
The 28-year-old German battled past No. 3 seeded Juan Ignacio Galarza from Argentina in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Unseeded Adrian Obert from Germany eased past Slovenian No. 4 seed Nik Razborsek in the semi-finals in two sets.
In the all-German title match, Netuschil broke his opponent’s serve five times without dropping a service game, to claim a 6-2, 6-1 victory. After 84 minutes, the No. 2 seed lifted his 10th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

21-year-old Alexander Erler got the crown of the M15 Wels tournament, hosted at UTC Wels.
The Austrian top seed fought past teenager Tomas Jirousek from the Czech Republic in the semi-finals in two sets.
Croatian qualifier Duje Kekez, who defeated No. 2 seed Christian Lindell from Sweden in the opening round, advanced from the bottom half of the draw in beating Nick Veldheer from the Netherlands in three sets. Austria resident Veldheer practices at the Estess Tennis Academy in Seefeld.
Erler, who is coached by former ATP No. 47 Andreas Haider-Maurer, won 89 per cent of his first-service points to secure a 6-4- 6-4 win in 86 minutes. The Kufstein resident celebrated his fourth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour after winning three consecutive titles in Cairo last year.
M15 Tabarka TUN – Teenager Sebastian Baez captures his third title of the season
Top seed Sebastian Baez, who was ranked No. 1 in ITF Juniors last year, prevailed at the Magic Tours tournament, hosted at Thabraca Magic Hotel. Following his final appearance last week at the same place, he celebrated his third career trophy on the ITF Pro Circuit, all of them won in 2019.
The 18-year-old Argentinian rallied past Briton Stuart Parker in the stage of the last four in two sets.
The tournament’s No. 4 Alexander Weis from Italy made the last step to the final in defeating Belgian No. 5 seed Benjamin Dhoe in straight sets.
Breaking his 22-year-old rival’s serve four times without losing a service game, Buenos Aires-born Baez clinched a 6-2, 6-2 win after 72 minutes.
M15 – Cancun MEX – Christian Langmo clinches his maiden title
No. 8 seeded Christian Langmo is the champion of the Cancun Tennis Cup, held at Cancun Tennis Academy.
The 23-year-old US-American eased past left-handed Maximiliano Estevez from Argentina, who had to retire at the score of 5-7, 3-4 in the semi-finals.
Frenchman Jean Thirouin advanced from the top half of the draw in beating US-American No. 7 seed Gage Brymer in a tough three-set battle.
Florida resident Langmo converted three of his six break point opportunities without losing a service game to get the final win after one hour and 46 minutes with 6-2, 6-4. He lifted his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

Nikita Mashtakov got the crown of the Telavi Open 2019, which was held at Telavi Tennis Club.
The 20-year-old Ukrainian benefited from the retirement of Russian No. 5 seed Shalva Dzhanashiya at the score of 7-6, 2-1 in the stage of the final four.
