M25 Fort Worth USA – Teenager Jesper de Jong claims his third trophy season

Jesper de Jong clinched the trophy of the Oracle Pro Series, held at Baynard H. Friedmann Tennis Center in Fort Worth.

The 19-year-old Dutch stopped the run of US-American qualifier Alfredo Perez in the stage of the last four in straight sets.

No. 3 seeded Ryan Peniston emerged victorious from the all-British semi-final clash versus left-handed top seed Liam Broady, who was ranked World No. 2 as a junior, in two sets.

Unseeded de Jong did not face a break point during the championship match and converted five of his 13 break-point opportunities to seal a 6-2, 6-0 victory in 63 minutes. The Haarlem-born lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won in 2019.

“I think everything went well and I played a perfect match. It is a very good feeling to win my first M25 event, so I want to play more tournaments at this level. Such tournaments of the Oracle Pro Series are a good chance for young Americans, especially for the college players. I saw a lot of them in the last two weeks and they have a really good level,” de Jong said.

M15 Liberec CZE – Teenager Andrew Paulson takes his maiden title on home soil

Andrew Paulson is the champion of the Liberec Indoor Open, held at LTK Liberec, to lift his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 17-year-old Czech knocked off Polish No. 8 seed Michal Dembek in the semi-finals in three sets.

Qualifier Peter Michnev from the Czech Republic advanced from the top half of the draw by beating Swedish Christian Samuelsson in straight sets.

Junior entry Paulson struck eight aces in the title match and won 89 per cent of his first-service points to prevail 7-6, 6-1 after one hour and 11 minutes.

M25 Monastir TUN – Petros Chrysochos crowns his perfect week

The Monastir Open, hosted at Tennis Club Monastir, concluded with the triumph of Petros Chrysochos. In addition to his championship in the singles competition, the Cypriot clinched the doubles trophy together with Skander Mansouri from Tunisia.

The 23-year-old fought his way through the top half of the draw, defeating Spanish top seed Roberto Ortega-Olmedo in straight sets.

French Alexis Gautier made the last step to the final by beating Tunisian wildcard entry Majed Kilani in three sets.

Unseeded Chrysochos withstood the 11 aces from his 22-year-old opponent to claim a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win in the title match, which lasted almost two hours. The Larnaca native celebrated his sixth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Fayetteville USA – Roberto Cid Subervi triumphs in Arkansas

Following his doubles championship alongside his partner Evan Song from the United States, Roberto Cid Subervi captured the singles trophy of the Legacy National Bank NWA Tennis Series, hosted at the University of Arkansas.

The 26-year-old Florida resident, who is representing the Dominican Republic, eased past No. 3 seeded teenager Nicolas Mejia from Colombia in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

Aleksandar Kovacevic won the all-US American semi-final battle against the No. 2 seeded leftie Michael Redlicki in three sets.

Top seed Cid Subervi won 85 per cent of his first-service points to get the final win by the score of 6-2, 6-2 in 64 minutes. The Santo Domingo native lifted his seventh singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his third in 2019.

M15 Doha QAT – Marat Deviatiarov captures his maiden title

The M15 Doha tournament, hosted at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex, concluded with the victory of Marat Deviatiiarov.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian, who entered the competition by his protected ranking, emerged victorious from the semi-final clash of the unseeded players, beating Gustav Hansson from Sweden in straight sets.

The tournament’s top favourite Adam Moundir from Morocco rallied past German No. 4 seed Tobias Simon, who clinched the trophy in Doha last week, in the semi-finals in two sets.

Kharkov-born Deviatiarov won 75 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to prevail 6-2, 6-3 after 70 minutes. In addition to his 16 doubles trophies, he lifted his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Tabarka TUN – Teenager Nicholas David Ionel clinches his third trophy in a row

After his championships in Brasov and Targa Mures last month, Nicholas David Ionel clinched the trophy of the Magic Tours tournament, held at Thabraca Magic Hotel in Tabarka.

The 17-year-old Romanian cruised past Benjamin Dhoe from Belgium in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

No. 5 seeded Manuel Pena Lopez advanced from the bottom half of the draw, beating French No. 2 seed Mathieu Perchicot in two sets.

In the final, unseeded Ionel outpointed his 21-year-old rival 90-80 to celebrate a 6-4, 7-5 in two hours and 29 minutes. The Bucharest native lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Cancun MEX – Maximiliano Estevez dominates in Mexico

Top seed Maximiliano Estevez triumphed at the Cancun Tennis Cup, hosted at Cancun Tennis Academy, without losing a set the entire week.

The Argentinean lefty stopped the run of Mwendwa Mbithi from the United States in the semi-finals in two clear sets.

Colombian Cristian Rodriguez, who entered the tournament on position five, took the last step to the final by defeating Argentinean No. 2 seed Mariano Kestelboim in straight sets.

In the championship match, Rodriguez had to retire at the score of 3-5 in the first set. 30-year-old Estevez, who lives in Buenos Aires, celebrated his 12th singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Benicarlo ESP – Carlos Gimeno Valero earns his second consecutive title

Teenager Carlos Gimeno Valero is the champion of the ITF Ciutat de Benicarlo, held at Club de Tenis Benicarlo.

The 18-year-old emerged victorious from the all-Spanish semi-final clash versus Alvaro Lopez San Martin in two sets.

Wildcard entry Francisco Andreu Garcia from Spain knocked off Russian No. 2 seed Alexander Zhurbin in the stage of the last four in three sets.

The Spanish affair in the championship match was dominated by Gimeno Valero in 58 minutes. The junior entry outpointed his opponent 59-38 to claim a 6-1, 6-2 win. The lefty celebrated his second career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his maiden triumph at Riba – Roja de Turia two weeks ago.

M15 Antalya TUR – Teenager Lorenzo Musetti celebrates back-to-back titles in Antalya

Following his triumph at the same place last week, Lorenzo Musetti won the GD Tennis Cup Series, hosted at Kaya Belek Resort Hotel in Antalya.

The 17-year-old Italian, who was ranked No. 1 in the ITF Juniors earlier this season, battled through the bottom half of the draw, defeating Julien Cagnina from Belgium in three sets.

The tournament’s No. 4 Ronald Slobodchikov from Russia edged past German top seed Peter Heller in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Lasting one hour and 14 minutes, No. 3 seeded Musetti broke his 25-year-old rival in the title match six times to secure a 6-4, 6-1 victory. The Carrara-born lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Junin ARG – Hernan Casanova captures his fourth title of the season

Buenos Aires native Hernan Casanova emerged victorious at the M15 Junin tournament, held at C.A.A. Tenis Junin.

In the all-Argentinean semi-finals, the top seed beat No. 4 seeded Juan Ignacio Galarza in straight sets.

No. 3 seeded teenager Juan Manuel Cerundolo, who was ranked No. 9 in the ITF Juniors last year, rallied down No. 7 seed Franco Emanuel Egea in two sets.

25-year-old Casanova dropped one service game in the championship match and converted six of his 10 break-point chances to prevail 6-2, 6-1 in 69 minutes. The wildcard entry celebrated his 17th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his fourth in 2019.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Pablo Gonzalez Vivero clinches another trophy on hard court

Pablo Gonzalez Vivero won the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, held at Soho Square.

The 24-year-old Spaniard cruised past Italian No. 2 seed Julian Ocleppo in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

Teenager Kyrian Jacquet from France made the last step to the final by beating Egyptian top seed Karim-Mohamed Maamoun in three sets.

No. 4 seed Vivero Gonzalez won 80 per cent of his first-service points in the title match to seal a 6-1, 6-3 win after 58 minutes. The Madrid-born lifted his 10th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on hard court.
