The ATP Cup has announced a brand new partnership with Swiss luxury watchmaker Rolex.
Rolex will be the Official Timekeeper and Platinum Partner for the ATP Cup which will launch the global tennis season in 2020. Twenty-four countries will battle for the new world title, AUD $22 million in prize money and valuable ATP Ranking Points.
“We are delighted to welcome Rolex to the ATP Cup, the newest event in world tennis,” Tournament Director Tom Larner said.
“As well as being one of the world’s most prestigious brands, Rolex has a long history of working with tennis globally. They have a deep understanding of our sport and we anticipate the ATP Cup will bring new domestic and international exposure.”
Tennis Australia Chief Revenue and Experiential Officer Richard Heaselgrave added, “We have a longstanding association with Rolex and it is fantastic to extend our relationship to now encompass this exciting new event.
“We look forward to working with them throughout the Australian summer of tennis.”
As part of the new agreement, Rolex’s timepieces will be showcased on-court in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney, with clocks also situated across each of the venues. A series of inspiring content pieces will be featured as part of the entertainment on the digital walls throughout the tournament.
