Organizers of the Challenger Eckental announced on Wednesday the entry list for the International German Indoor Championship, which is taking place at the House of Sports in Eckental from October 31 to November 8, 2020.

The field will be led by World No. 65 Ricardas Berankis from Lithuania, who has clinched 13 titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. The 30-year-old, a former World No. 1 in the Junior Rankings, will be joined in Bavaria by fellow Top 100 players Dennis Novak from Austria and Finnish young gun Emil Ruusuvuori.

Peter Gojowczyk, Dustin Brown, Oscar Otte and Yannick Maden are part of a strong German contingent.

No public ticket sale

A total of 70 persons will be allowed to attend the matches, including honoured guests, sponsors and partners of the tournament. Tickets will not go on public sale.

Strict health measures will be in place including daily health and temperature checks for all on-site personnel as well as for spectators. Physical distancing rules and public health guidelines for hygiene must be followed. Ahead of the tournament, all players and coaches will be tested for Covid-19.

The Challenger Eckental offers a total prize money of €44,280. The winner will receive 80 ATP Ranking points.
