Jaume Munar of Spain took the title of the Club Megasaray Open I held at the Megasaray Tennis Academy in Belek, Antalya, Turkey. The top seed of the €44,820 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court tournament defeated No. 5 seed Lorenzo Musetti of Italy 6-7(7), 6-2, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
Munar advanced to the championship match with wins over compatriot Carlos Taberner, Zdenek Kolar from the Czech Republic, Italian Alessandro Giannessi and fellow Spaniard Tommy Robredo. In his second meeting with Musetti, the 23-year-old from Mallorca converted six of his 13 break-point chances and came back from 0-2 down in the third set to secure victory in two hours and 28 minutes.

Munar secured five wins in four days to take the title, as the tournament had to deal with bad weather almost throughout the week.
