The former World No. 3 is the third seed at Singapore’s first ATP Tour event in 22 years, held on a single-year licence at the OCBC Arena inside the vast Singapore Sports Hub. Eyeing a ninth indoor hard-court title, Cilic will start his campaign against Taro Daniel.
Adrian Mannarino and John Millman are the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively, and both players are bidding to double their ATP Tour trophy count. Other players to watch include fourth seed Alexander Bublik, Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka and Moldova’s Radu Albot.

Schwartzman on home soil in Cordoba
Diego Schwartzman returns to the Cordoba Open hoping to lift an ATP Tour trophy on home soil for the first time.
The Top 10 star came agonisingly close last year at this event, falling short in a three-set final. Two of Schwartzman’s three ATP Tour titles have come on clay, and the top seed will have another shot in Cordoba this edition, as he leads a field packed with home favourites including 2019 champion Juan Ignacio Londero and eighth seed Federico Delbonis.
Also in action at the ATP Tour’s first clay-court event of the season are second seed Benoit Paire and third seed Miomir Kecmanovic.

Murray to make Montpellier debut
Andy Murray will compete in his first ATP Tour event since October at the Open Sud de France, an ATP 250 event in Montpellier.
The former World No. 1 is making his Montpellier debut, and he is seeking a third tour-level title on French soil. Murray will take on Egor Gerasimov in his opening match and could meet #NextGenATP Italian Jannik Sinner in the second round.
Roberto Bautista Agut, the No. 1 seed, is hunting for his 10th ATP Tour title and first on hard courts. Other players in action include second seed David Goffin and former champion Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
