M15 Bratislava SVK – Vitaliy Sachko prevails in Slovakia
The 1st ITF WTT M15 Bratislava, hosted by the National Tennis Centre, concluded with the title win of Vitaliy Sachko.
The Ukrainian No. 2 seed took the last step to the final with a three-set victory against No. 4 seeded Hungarian Zsombor Piros.
French qualifier Jurgen Briand edged out Andrew Paulson from the Czech Republic in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Twenty-three-year-old Sachko won seven points more in the championship match to secure a 6-1, 2-6, 7-6 win after two hours and 27 minutes. Following his maiden triumph on home soil in 2019, the Krementschuk native lifted his second singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Faro POR – Alen Avidzba dominates in Portugal
Alen Avidzba captured the title of the 30° Faro WTT Portugal 2, held at the Centro de Tenis de Faro, without losing a set during the tournament.
The 21-year-old Russian, who lives in France to work with former tennis professional Jean-Rene Lisnard, benefited in the semi-finals from the retirement of the tournament’s top favourite Mischa Zverev from Germany in the second set.
Lucas Poullain emerged victorious from the all-French semifinal encounter against Tak Khun Wang in straight sets.
Sochi-born Avidzba converted six of his seven break-point chances in the title match by dropping two service games to win 6-2, 6-2 in 77 minutes. The former No. 16 in the ITF Junior’s ranking celebrated his second career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Lucknow IND – Zane Khan wins maiden title
The M15 Lucknow tournament, held at Padmashri Mohd Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium, concluded with the triumph of Zane Khan.
The 19-year-old US-American advanced to the final with a straight-set win against Ukrainian No. 5 seed Eric Vanshelboim.
The top seeded local hero Saketh Myneni battled past British No. 3 seed Aidan McHugh in the semi-finals in two sets.
Unseeded Khan won 79 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to seal a 7-6, 6-3 victory after about two hours. The Houston native, who reached the under-18 final of the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Championships 2018 by coming from the qualifying, lifted his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour
M15 Antalya TUR – Dragos Nicolae Madaras takes second career title
Left-handed Dragos Nicolae Madaras took the title of the MTA Open Series, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The Swedish qualifier battled through the top half of the draw, beating Joao Lucas Reis da Silva from Brazil in the semi-finals in two sets.
Serbian veteran Milan Zekic edged out Oleksii Krutykh from the Ukraine in the stage of the last four in three sets.
After three hours and 11 minutes, 23-year-old Madaras benefited in the title match from the retirement of his No. 5 seeded opponent at the score of 2-6, 7-6, 6-5. The Romania-born, who is representing Sweden, celebrated his second career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Monastir TUN – Renta Tokuda captures another title on hard court
Renta Tokuda clinched the trophy of the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 22-year-old Japanese knocked off defending champion Stuart Parker from Great Britain in the semi-finals in straight sets.
No. 7 seeded Carlos Sanchez Jover from Spain booked his spot in the final following a three-set win against Brazilian No. 5 seed Mateus Alves.
Hiroshima-born Tokuda outpointed his 20-year-old rival in the championship match 118-104 to prevail 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 after two hours and 49 minutes. The No. 4 seed lifted his sixth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on hard court.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Yu Hsiou Hsu juts out in Egypt
Yu Hsiou Hsu won the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, hosted by Soho Square, without dropping a set the entire week.
The 21-year-old from Chinese Taipei made the last step to the final with a straight-set win versus Nick Hardt from the Dominican Republic.
Edoardo Eremin from Italy continued his great run out of the qualifying by defeating Indian No. 2 seed Sasikumar Mukund in the semi-finals in two sets.
Changhua-born Hsu capitalized on three of his six break-point opportunities in the title match without losing a service game to seal a 6-3 6-2 victory in exact one hour of play. The former junior’s World No. 5, who clinched three doubles trophies at junior Grand-Slam events in 2017, celebrated his fourth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
