Benjamin Bonzi and Lucas Pouille will compete in Sunday’s singles final of the Cassis Open Provence being held at the Tennis Sporting Club de Cassis in Southern France.
Bonzi, top seed of the €44,820 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court tournament and winner of four Challenger titles this season, beat Kacper Zuk of Poland 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday afternoon. The World No. 94 from France struck six aces and won 86 per cent of his first-service points to advance after 67 minutes.

Pouille defeated No. 8 seeded Briton Liam Broady 6-4, 6-3. The fifth seed from France converted four of his seven break-point chances to seal victory in one hour and 19 minutes.
Pouille is seeking his first title win since lifting the trophy on home soil at the Bordeaux Challenger in early May 2019. Bonzi took the titles in Potchefstrom, South Africa, Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Segovia in Spain as well as in St. Tropez, France last week. Bonzi also won the only previous meeting with Pouille in the first round of the Open Sud de France in Montpellier earlier this season.
Indians prevail in doubles
Earlier in the day, N. Sriram Balaji and Ramkumar Ramanathan captured the doubles title. The No. 3 seed from India fought past the all-Mexican duo and No. 2 seeds Hans Hach Verdugo and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela 6-4, 3-6, 10-6. The final lasted one hour and 14 minutes.
Following a triumph on the ITF Pro Circuit in Doha 2014, Balaji and Ramanathan took their first team title on the ATP Challenger Tour. They split €2,670 in prize money and earned 80 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
