German teenager Eva Lys captured her second title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, lifting the trophy of the Republican Girls W25 hard-court tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 19-year-old upset top seed and World No. 252 Indy de Vroome from the Netherlands 6-3, 7-6(4) on Saturday.

Lys capitalized on two of her eight break-point chances and outpointed her rival 90-78 after one hour and 50 minutes.

The World No. 438 advanced to the championship match with wins over Arlinda Rushiti from Switzerlands, No. 4 seed Jesika Maleckova from the Czech Republic, Ilona Giorgiana Ghioroaie of Romania and home favourite Pemra Ozgen.

Following her maiden triumph on home soil at the AK Ladies Open in Altenkirchen, Lys celebrated her second career title on the Pro Circuit.
