M15 Lambare PAR – Gabriel Alejandro Hidalgo returns to winners’ circle
Argentine veteran Gabriel Alejandro Hidalgo took the trophy of the Dove Men + Care Legion Sudamericana Lambare, hosted by Yacht Y Golf Club Paraguayo.
The Concordia native battled past his compatriot and No. 5 seed Valerio Aboian in the stage of the final four in two sets.
No. 6 seeded Ignacio Monzon set the all-Argentinian final with a straight set win against Uruguayan No. 2 seed Ignacio Carou.
Thirty-one-year-old Hidalgo converted six of his nine break-point chances and dropped two service games to secure a 6-1, 6-3 win in one hour and 40 minutes. The No. 7 seed lifted his fifth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his first since 2016 and all of them won on clay in South America.

M15 Doha QAT – Hady Habib wins third title of the season
The 4th Qatar Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour 2021, held at Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex, concluded with the title win of No. 3 seed Hady Habib.
The college player for the Texas A&M University knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Yu Hsiou Hsu from Chinese Taipei, who was ranked World No. 5 as a junior, in the semi-finals in two sets.
Indian No. 2 seed Sasikumar Mukund made the last step to the final by defeating Dominik Palan from the Czech Republic in straight sets.
Houston-born Habib, who has represented Lebanon since 2018, sent down eight aces in the championship match and converted five of his 10 break-point chances to succeed 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 after one hour and 37 minutes. The 23-year-old celebrated his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his third in 2021.

M15 Cancun MEX – Liam Draxl earns back-to-back titles
Following his maiden title win at the same place last week, Liam Draxl won another trophy of the World Tennis Tour Cancun, hosted by Cancun Tennis Complex.
The Canadian No. 6 seed finished the run of US-American qualifier Tristan McCormack in the semi-finals in three sets.
Isiah Strode from the United States battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating Colombian No. 4 seed Juan Sebastian Gomez in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
Twenty-year-old Draxl won 95 per cent of his first-service points and gained five breaks in the title match to seal a 6-0, 6-1 victory in 61 minutes. The Newmarket native, who was ranked junior’s World No. 9 and took part in the ITF Junior Finals in Chengdu 2019, lifted his second singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Antalya TUR – Dragos Nicolae Madaras clinches fourth title of the season
Dragos Nicloae Madaras is the champion of the Antalya Series, held at the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 24-year-old lefty eased past French No. 3 seed Luca van Assche in the semi-finals in two sets. Seventeen-year-old van Assche was ranked Junior World No. 1 and captured the title of the Roland Garros Junior Championships this season.
Last week’s Antalya-champion Billy Harris from Great Britain, who entered the tournament on position four, booked another spot in the final with a straight-set win against Koray Kirci from Turkey.
Romania-born Madaras, who represents Sweden, broke his 26-year-old rival in the championship match five times to prevail 7-5, 6-1 in 91 minutes. The No. 2 seed celebrated his fifth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fourth in 2021.
M15 Monastir TUN – Martin Breysach captures maiden trophy
Frenchman Martin Breysach emerged victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 19-year-old rallied past Tunisian No. 3 seed Moez Echargui in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Left-handed Omni Kumar, the US-American No. 4 seed, advanced to the final with a three-set win versus No. 7 seeded Italian Samuel Vincent Ruggeri.
In a thrilling title match with both players gaining five breaks, junior entry Breysach won five points more to claim a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 victory after two hours and 45 minutes. The Strasbourg native lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.
