M25 Nottingham GBR – Brandon Holt captures fourth title of the season
The M25 Nottingham tournament, hosted by Nottingham Tennis Centre, concluded with the title win of No. 5 seed Brandon Holt from the United States.
The former college player for the University of Southern California made it to the final with a straight-set win versus No. 3 seed Filip Peliwo from Poland.
Henry Patten emerged victorious from the all-British semifinal-clash against wild card entry Oscar Weightman in three sets.
Rolling Hill-born Holt outpointed his 25-year-old opponent in the title match 96-86 and gained one break more to prevail 7-6, 7-5 after two hours and nine minutes. The 23-year-old celebrated his sixth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fourth this season following three title wins in Cancun.
M25 Angers FRA – Titouan Droguet wins debut title on home soil
Titouan Droguet clinched the trophy of the Open Galerie Espace Anjou, hosted by Angers Tennis Club.
The 20-year-old won the all-French semifinal-encounter against Jurgen Briand in straight sets.
No. 7 seed Lucas Catarina from Monaco, who entered the main draw of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters for the fourth time by wild card two weeks ago, advanced to the final with a three-set victory against French teenager Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg.
Unseeded Droguet broke his 25-year-old rival in the championship match six times and lost one service game to prevail 6-1, 6-1 in 55 minutes. The Villeneuve Saint Georges native lifted his first singles trophy on the Pro Circuit.

M25 Santa Margherita di Pula ITA – Francesco Maestrelli triumphs on home soil
Francesco Maestrelli was victorious at the Fortevillage ITF Trophy, which was held at ASD Fortevillage in Sardinia.
In the all-Italian semi-finals, the 19-year-old cruised past wild card entry Gabriele Piraino in two sets.
No. 3 seed Edoardo Lavagno made the last step to the final by defeating his No. 8 seeded countryman Alexander Weis in straight sets.
Unseeded Maestrelli converted four of his seven break-point chances in the title match without dropping a service game to get the win by the score of 6-1, 6-3 in 71 minutes. The Pisa native celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Orange Park USA – Yibing Wu returns to winners’ circle
Yibing Wu is the champion of the Eagle Landing Tennis Classic, hosted by Eagle Landing.
The 22-year-old Chinese, who was sidelined from professional tennis due to an elbow injury for almost three years, battled past 16-year-old wild card entry Learner Tien from the United States in the semi-finals in two sets.
Brazilian No. 6 seed Wilson Leite ended the run of US-American qualifier Michael Zheng in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Hangzhou-born Wu earned one break and ten points more in the championship match to succeed 7-6, 7-5 after one hour and 40 minutes. The former Juniors World No. 1, who captured the singles and doubles title at the 2017 US Open Junior Tennis Championships, lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his two title wins in 2017.
M15 Shymkent KAZ – Ivan Gakhov dominates in Kazakhstan
Top seed Ivan Gakhov took the title of the Shymkent International Tournament, held at the National Tennis Center, without losing a set the entire week.
In the semi-finals with all top-four seeds in action, the Moscow native edged out No. 3 seed Alibek Kachmazov in two sets.
No. 4 seed Eric Vanshelboim from the Ukraine advanced to the final with a straight-set win versus No. 2 seed Yan Bondarevskiy.
Left-handed Gakhov outpointed his 20-year-old opponent in the title match 71-56 to secure a 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 44 minutes. The 25-year-old celebrated his 13th singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Chiang Rai THA – Omar Jasika wins another title on hard court
The ITF Men’s Asia/Oceania #3, hosted by the venue of Chiang Rai Sports Center, concluded with the title win of left-handed Omar Jasika.
The 24-year-old Australian eased past Japanese No. 6 seed Yuta Shimizu, who was ranked World No. 5 as a junior, in the semi-finals in two sets.
No. 5 seeded veteran Dayne Kelly defeated fellow Australian Ajeet Rai in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
Melbourne-born Jasika, who was banned from professional tennis for two years from March 2018 after testing positive for cocaine, converted four of his eight break-point chances in the championship match and dropped one service game to triumph 6-1, 7-6 in 89 minutes. The former Juniors World No. 6, who clinched the singles and doubles title at the 2014 US Open, lifted his fifth trophy on the Pro Circuit including his ATP Challenger title in Burnie 2017. The No. 8 seed won all of his trophies on hard court.

M15 Cairo EGY – Andrey Chepelev prevails again in Cairo
Andrey Chepelev earned another trophy at the Egypt Men’s Future, hosted by the venue of Al-Solaimaneyah Sporting Club in Alexandria.
The 23-year-old lefty cruised past Italian No. 6 seed Simone Roncalli in the semi-finals in two sets.

M15 Antalya TUR – Dragos Nicolae Madaras clinches third trophy of the season
Following two title wins at the same place earlier this season, left-handed Dragos Nicolae Madaras clinched another trophy at the Antalya Series, held at Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 24-year-old from Sweden took the last step to the final by defeating Swiss No. 4 seed Damien Wenger in three sets.
Ukrainian No. 3 seed Oleg Prihodko stopped the run of Italian qualifier Lorenzo Claverie in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Romania-born Madaras gained three breaks and 15 points more in the championship match to succeed 6-4, 6-2 after 82 minutes. The top seed lifted his ninth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Monastir TUN – Bu Yunchaokete captures maiden title
Bu Yunchaokete emerged victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The wild card entry won the all-Chinese semifinal-clash against No. 8 seed Zhe Li in two sets.
Last week’s Monastir champion Mattia Bellucci, the Italian No. 4 seed, booked another spot in the final with a straight-set win against Estonian junior entry Mark Lajal.
Twenty-year-old Yunchaokete converted all of his four break-point chances in the title match and dropped only one service game to claim a 6-4, 6-2 victory in 93 minutes. The former Juniors World No. 5 celebrated his first singles title on the Pro Circuit.
