M25 Split CRO – Viacheslav Bielinskyi clinches maiden trophy

Teenager Viacheslav Bielinskyi is the champion of the ITF Split Open, held at Tenis Centar Firule.

The 18-year-old Ukrainian, who was ranked Junior World No. 5 last season, cruised past No. 3 seed Aldin Setkic from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-finals in straight sets. 

German No. 6 seed Rudolf Molleker, who was also born in the Ukraine, advanced to the final with a three-set win versus No. 5 seeded Khumoyun Sultanov from Uzbekistan.

Unseeded Bielinskyi capitalized on five of his nine break-point chances in the title match and dropped one service-game to claim a 6-2, 6-3 victory in 74 minutes and celebrate his first singles title on the Pro Circuit.

M25 Cairo EGY – Li Tu caps dream run in Egypt 

Li Tu clinched the trophy at the Egypt Men’s Future, hosted by the venue of Al-Solaimaneyah Sporting Club in Alexandria.

The 25-year-old qualifier from Australia battled past Remy Bertola from Switzerland in the semi-finals in two sets.

Colin Sinclair from the Northern Mariana Islands, who played college tennis for the Cornell University and represents the Davis Cup team of Pacific Oceania, made the last step to the final by defeating Marco Miceli from Italy in straight sets.

Unseeded Tu sent down nine aces in the championship match and won 78 per cent of his first-service points to prevail 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 after more than two hours. The Adelaide resident who was awarded a main draw wildcard at the Australian Open 2021, lifted his sixth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Santa Margherita di Pula ITA – Laurent Lokoli wins another trophy in Sardinia

The Fortevillage ITF Trophy, hosted by ASD Fortevillage, concluded with another title win of Laurent Lokoli, who clinched the trophy at the same place two weeks ago.

The French No. 2 seed booked another spot in the final, beating Italian wild card entry Fausto Tabacco in straight sets.

Top seed Miljan Zekic from Serbia set the final of the top two favourites by defeating Austrian No. 6 seed Lukas Neumayer in three sets. 

Lasting three hours and 16 minutes, twenty-seven-year-old Lokoli earned two breaks and 15 points more in the title match to claim victory with 6-2, 5-7, 6-4. The Bastia native lifted his 13th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his fourth this season.

M15 Shymkent KAZ – Teenager Sean Cuenin captures maiden title 

Former junior’s World No. 10 Sean Cuenin clinched the trophy of the Shymkent International Tournament, held at the National Tennis Center. 

The 18-year-old Frenchman edged out Ukrainian No. 4 seed Eric Vanshelboim in the stage of the last four in two sets.

Top seeded Alibek Kachmazov defeated French No. 5 seed Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, who was ranked No. 4 in ITF Juniors last season, in the semi-finals in straight sets. 

Toulon-born Cuenin sent down seven aces and won 76 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to triumph 6-3, 7-6 in more than two hours of play. The No. 7 seed lifted his first singles trophy on the Pro Circuit. 

M15 Chiang Rai THA – Makoto Ochi prevails again on Asian soil 

The ITF Men’s Asia/Oceania #4, hosted by the venue of Chiang Rai Sports Center, concluded with the title win of left-handed Makoto Ochi. 

The 25-year-old Japanese edged past S D Prajwal Dev from India in the stage of the final four in three sets.

Veteran Rubin Statham from New Zealand booked the spot in the final with a straight-set win against Japanese Takuto Niki. 

Unseeded Ochi fired 12 aces and earned the only two breaks in the title match to seal a 6-4, 6-4 victory in one hour and 39 minutes. The Akashi native celebrated his fifth career title on the ITF World Tennis tour, all of them won in Asia.

M15 Antalya TUR – Oleg Prihodko clinches another trophy on clay

Oleg Prihodko took the title of the Antalya Series, held at Club Megasaray in Belek.

The Ukrainian No. 3 seed took the last step to the final by defeating Raphael Collignon from Belgium in three sets.

Pablo Llamas Ruiz from Spain knocked off the tournament’s top favourite and last week’s Antalya-champion Dragos Nicolae Madaras from Sweden in the semi-finals in three sets. 

Twenty-four-year-old Prihodko gained three breaks more in the championship match to succeed 6-2, 6-4 after 87 minutes. The Pavlograd native lifted his second singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his maiden championship on clay in Telavi last season.

M15 Monastir TUN – Mattia Bellucci wins fourth title of the season

Mattia Bellucci emerged victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.

The 20-year-old Italian beat Adria Soriano Barrera from Spain in the semi-finals in two sets.

US-American No. 2 seed Omni Kumar advanced to the final with a straight-set win against No. 3 seeded Kazakh Beibit Zhukayev.

Busto-Arsizio-born Bellucci broke his opponent of the same age in the title match six times and dropped two service games to claim a 6-1, 6-4 victory in 80 minutes. The No. 4 seed celebrated his fifth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, four of them achieved in Monastir.
