M15 Aprilia ITA – Enrico Dalla Valle returns to winners’ circle
Local hero Enrico Dalla Valle is the champion of the Trofeo Nepta, held at A.S.D. Sporting Club Fusco.
The 24-year-old Italian defeated Peruvian junior entry Gonzalo Bueno, who is currently ranked juniors World No. 6, in the semi-finals in two sets.
Niccolo Catini emerged victorious from the all-Italian semifinal-clash against Lorenzo Bresciani in straight sets.
No. 6 seeded Dalla Valle broke his rival of the same age in the championship match four times and lost one service-game to triumph 6-3, 6-3 after one hour and 43 minutes. The Ravenna native lifted his fifth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following four title wins in 2019.
“It was an unreal week for me with a great ride playing better every day. I had two tough years with three surgeries and almost not playing any tournaments, so I am very happy about this great comeback with the title here. Three months ago I was in hospital, so I will go day by day for the next processes”, Dalla Valle said after the match.
M25 Telfs AUT – Ergi Kirkin prevails in Tyrol
Ergi Kirkin gained the trophy of the ITF World Tennis Tour powered by Raiffeisen, held at the venue of TC Telfs.
The Turkish top seed benefited in the semi-finals from the retirement of No. 3 seeded Frenchman Valentin Royer at the score of 4-6, 7-6, 4-0.
Second-seeded US-American Oliver Crawford battled past Austrian No. 4 seed Maximilian Neuchrist in the stage of the last four in three sets.
Twenty-three-year-old Kirkin broke his opponent of the same age in the championship match four times to secure a 6-4, 7-5 victory after one hour and 41 minutes. The Ankara native lifted his eighth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Uriage FRA – Ugo Blanchet earns third title of the season

The Uriage Eau Thermale, hosted by Tennis Club d’Uriage, concluded with the title win of local hero Ugo Blanchet.
The 23-year-old Frenchman edged out Spanich No. 2 seed Alex Marti Pujolras in the semi-finals in two sets.
No. 6 seed Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard set the all-French final with a straight-set win against his countryman Timo Legout.
Third-seeded Blanchet won 80 per cent of his first-service points and gained the only three breaks in the title match to triumph 6-2, 6-3 in 64 minutes. The Saint-Julien-en-Genevois native celebrated his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his third in 2022.
M25 Kassel GER – Michael Vrbensky captures another title on clay
Michael Vrbensky was crowned champion at the Wilhemshöhe Open, held at venue of the KTC Bad Wilhelmshöhe 1896 e.V.
The 22-year-old Czech made the last step to the final by defeating Raphael Collignon from Belgium in three sets.
German No. 5 seed Sebastian Fanselow, who played college tennis for Pepperdine University, eased past Aleksandre Metreveli from Georgia in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Unseeded Vrbensky struck eight aces in the championship match and earned three breaks more to claim a 7-5, 6-7, 6-2 win in two hours and 40 minutes. The Nymburk native lifted his sixth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on clay.
M25 Idanha-a-Nova POR – Rio Noguchi succeeds in Portugal
Rio Noguchi won the title of the Internacionais de Tenis de Idanha-a-Nova, hosted by Clube de Tenis de Idanha-a-Nova.
The 23-year-old Japanese fought through the bottom half of the draw, beating French No. 5 seed Terence Atmane in the semi-finals in three sets.
Israeli No. 9 seed Ben Patael knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Goncalo Oliveira from Portugal in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Fukoka-born Noguchi won 77 per cent of his first-service points and gained the only three breaks in the title match to prevail 6-2, 6-4 in 75 minutes. The No. 4 seed celebrated his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Roehampton GBR – Toby Samuel wins debut title on home soil
Toby Samuel claimed the trophy of the M25 Roehampton tournament, which was held at the National Tennis Centre of the LTA.
In the all-British semi-finals, the wildcard entry advanced with a straight-set win versus No. 8 seed Mark Whitehouse.
No. 7 seed Henry Patten fought past his No. 6 seeded compatriot Stuart Parker in the stage of the last four in three sets.
Nineteen-year-old Samuel fired 15 aces in the championship match with both players scoring 107 points to seal a 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 win after two hours and 36 minutes. The Winchester native lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.
M25 Nur-Sultan KAZ – Sergey Fomin prevails in Kazakhstan
Sergey Fomin was victorious at the Nur-Sultan Open International Tournament, hosted by the National Tennis Center.
The No. 5 seeded Uzbek cruised past veteran Konstantin Kravchuk in the semi-finals in two sets.
Beibit Zhukayev from Kazakhstan booked the spot in the final with a three-set win against Indian No. 2 seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran.
In the title match with both players gaining two breaks, twenty-one-year-old Fomin withstood 15 aces from his rival of the same age and scored two points more to succeed 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 after about two hours. The Tashkent native celebrated his fourth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Litija SLO – Oleksandr Ovcharenko wins second title of the season
The Litija Open 2022, held at Tenis Klub AS Litija, concluded with the title win of Oleksandr Ovcharenko.
The Ukrainian No. 5 seed took the last step to the final by beating teenager Bor Artnak from Slovenia in two sets.
Top seeded Argentinian Juan Pablo Paz ended the run of French qualifier Amaury Raynel in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Lasting about three hours, Kiev-born Ovcharenko converted five of his 16 break-point opportunities in the championship match and lost two service games to secure a 6-1, 6-7, 6-3 win. Following his championship in Bergamo two weeks ago, the 20-year-old lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Pittsburgh USA – Kyle Seelig dominates in Pennsylvania
Kyle Seelig claimed the trophy of the Pittsburgh Men’s Pro Circuit Event, hosted by Mount Lebanon Tennis Center, without dropping a set the entire week.
In the all-US-American semi-finals, the tounament’s top favourite knocked out Tyler Zink.
No. 7 seed AJ Catanzariti finished the run of qualifier Mac Kiger in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Twenty-four-year-old Seelig gained three breaks and 13 points more in the title match to claim a 6-4, 6-3 victory in 72 minutes. The Hatfield native, who played college tennis for the Ohio State University, celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

Twenty-three-year-old Iannacconne capitalized on six of his eight break-point chances in the championship match by dropping two service-games to prevail 6-4, 6-0 in 80 minutes. The Campobasso native lifted his first singles trophy on the Pro Circuit.

M15 Monastir TUN – Abedallah Shelbayh claims maiden trophy
Left-handed teenager Abdellah Shelbayh emerged victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 18-year-old from Jordan advanced to the final with a straight-set win versus Tao Mu from China.
Former junior’s World No. 2 Daniel Rincon, who won the title of the US Open Junior Championships last season, beat Rigele Te from China in the semi-finals in two sets.
