The $53,120 Tiburon Challenger got off to a strong start after a two-year hiatus, with wild cards Evan King, Darian King and Alex Michelsen and alternates Daniil Glinka and Luke Saville making a good showing in the first qualifying round.
Qualifying finals begin Sunday, setting the stage for an exciting week of tennis at the Tiburon Peninsula Club, adjacent to the San Francisco Bay.
