Filip Misolic of Austria and Belgian Raphael Collignon will play in Sunday’s singles final of the Regione Abruzzo – Roseto Degli Abruzzi. The top seed of the €73,000 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court event in Italy defeated sixth-seeded Czech Dalibor Svrcina 6-3, 7-6(3) on Saturday. Misolic won 59 per cent of the total points played to advance in one hour and 45 minutes.
Collignon rallied past No. 7 seed Nicholas David Ionel from Romania 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 to reach his first championship match on the ATP Challenger Tour. The 21-year-old converted five of his eight break-point chances to prevail after two hours and 11 minutes.

“I arrived ten days ago in Roseto degli Abruzzi invited by tournament director Luca Del Federico whom I know very well,” said Collignon.
“We arrived on Wednesday 12 April with my partner Gauthier Onclin to prepare for the tournament in the best possible way. I am delighted having reached a career-high ranking of World No. 228, which allows me to enter the Roland Garros qualifiers. I hope to close the tournament week with a great result.”
