Francisco Comesana captured the title of the €73,000 Internazionali Di Tennis – Citta’ Di Vicenza – Trofeo FL Service. The 22-year-old Argentine alternate rallied from set down to overcome Pablo Llamas Ruiz of Spain 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 clay-court event in Vicenza, Itlay.
Comesana battled his way to the championship match through the top half of the draw with wins over Kimmer Coppejans from Belgium, Ukrainian qualifier Vitaliy Sachko, Matheu Pucinelli de Almeida of Brazil and top-seeded Italian Francesco Passaro.
The World No. 241 capitalized on five of his 12 break-point chances to seal victory in two hours and four minutes.

I felt right at home,” said Comesana. “The people of Vicenza supported me very much today there were many Argentine shirts in the stands and it gave me great pleasure. Greetings to my family and my team with whom we did a great job this week.”
By lifting his third ATP Challenger career trophy, following his triumphs on home soil in Buenos Aires and Corrientes last year, the South American earned €9,880 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
