Christopher Eubanks has captured his maiden title on the ATP Tour by winning the 2023 Mallorca Championships. The 27-year-old US-American beat French veteran Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 6-4 in Saturday’s singles final of the ATP Tour 250 grass-court tournament in Santa Ponsa, Calvia.
Eubanks, who saved five match points against Lloyd Harris in a dramatic semi-final victory, fired 11 aces and won 89 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after one hour and two minutes.

“It means the world. It just means the world, man,” Eubanks said. “It means a lot of the hard work I’ve been putting in, the ups and downs throughout my career, it all is coming together now at this point in my career. It’s just a testament to the hard work. Now I just want to keep working even harder to feel this feeling even more.”
Eubanks pocketed €139,270 in prize money as well as 250 ATP Ranking points.
“To come into my first Wimbledon with my first ATP title is something that if you had told me when I showed up last Thursday that it would happen, I probably wouldn’t have believed you,” said the World No. 77, who will face Brazil’s Thiago Monteiro in the first round at SW19. “But here I am standing here today and I’m looking forward to getting out there on Tuesday.”
Bhambri/Harris clinch doubles title
In other action, Yuki Bhambri of India and South African Lloyd Harris claimed the doubles title. The pair beat Robin Haase from the Netherlands and Austrian Philipp Oswald 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and five minutes.
“We had a great time. I really wanted to win this title, but we didn’t expect it this week because we tried to enjoy every match and take it one match at a time. I think we played a great tournament in a wonderful place like Mallorca,” said Bhambri.
“We’ve both really enjoyed playing together this week. It adds up to a lot for me and I feel really satisfied winning this title,” Harris added.
