The action on the ATP Tour continues to heat up this week with three tournaments as the calendar turns to August.
World No. 34 Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina is the top seed on the clay of the Generali Open in Kitzbühel, where home favourite Dominic Thiem will try to thrill the Austrian fans. After a first-round bye, Etcheverry will start his title bid against either Argentine qualifier Guido Andreozzi or local star and last year’s finalist Filip Misolic. Thiem will play qualifier Facundo Bagnis of Argentina in his opening match.

Fritz leads the field in Washington
A slew of stars, including US-Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe as well as Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada, will take to the court in the United States’ Capital for the Mubadala Citi DC Open, an ATP 500 event.

Tsitsipas top seed in Los Cabos
World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece leads the way at another hard-court tournament, the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo in Los Cabos, Mexico.
