Stefano Napolitano of Italy is the champion of the fifth edition of the Raiffeisen ITF Men’s Val Gardena Südtirol. The top seed of the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 hard-court event held at the Tennis Club Gherdeina, a valley in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, Northern Italy, defeated Adrian Oetzbach from Germany 7-5, 6-4 in Saturday’s singles final.

The 28-year-old Napolitano struck six aces and won 68 per cent of his first-service points to seal victory in two hours and six minutes.

Napolitano claimed his third career title on the ITF Pro Circuit, his second of the season following his triumph on home soil in Biella in early July and in addition to his ATP Challenger Tour trophy, he captured here in Val Gardena seven years ago. In the year 2016, Napolitano defeated his compatriot Alessandro Giannessi in the championship match of the Challenger in Ortisei.
